Ingredients:
5 Medium onions 1/2 ts Sugar 1/2 ts Salt 1/2 ts Pepper 1/3 c Butter 1/2 c Sherry 2 tb Parmesan cheese, shredded
1. Peel and slice onions. 2. Melt butter in saucepan and add onions. Season
with sugar, salt and pepper. 3. Cook 5 to 8 minutes until barely tender,
stirring to separate rings. 4. Add sherry. Cook 3 more minutes. 5. Remove
from heat. Sprinkle with parmesan.
