Ingredients:
ICE CREAM COOKBOOK 3 qt Evaporated milk (6 cans) 3 tb Vanilla 2 ts Salt 3 c Sugar
Dissolve the sugar in 2 quarts of milk and heat almost to the boiling
point. Remove from heat. Chill, add remaining ingredients and freeze.
This is an inexpensive base for a strongly flavored ice cream such as
chocolate.
