Ingredients:
1 lb Brown sugar
1/8 ts Salt
3/4 c  Evaporated milk
2 tb Butter
2 c  Pecans

Mix sugar, salt, milk & butter in 2 quart saucepan. Cook, stirring
constantly, over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Add pecans & cook
over med heat to soft ball stage (234 on thermometer)., stirring
constantly. Remove from heat; let cool 5 minutes. Stir rapidly until
mixture begins to thickens & coats pecans. Working quickly, drop by
teaspoonfuls on lightly buttered sheet, forming patties. If candy
stiffens & is slightly rough looking before all patties are formed,
soften & restore floss by adding a few drops of hot water. Let stand
until cool & set.
