Ingredients:
6 Large, juicy apples,grated 1/2 c Sifted matzo meal Grated peel of 1 lemon 1/2 c Sugar Blanched almonds 8 Eggs, separated
Stir the sugar and yolks well; add the grated apples, and mix well. Then
stir in the matzo meal and the grated lemon peel. Last add the stiff
bveaten whites of the 8 eggs. Bake in an ungreased spring form pan.
Sprinkle a handful of blanched almonds on top just before baking. Bake at
325 F. approx. 1 hr.
