Braunschweiger Ball

Blend meat, basil, garlic and onion. Form into ball. Combine cream cheese, salad dressing and garlic powder. Spread over top of braunschweiger ball. Chill at least 24 hours before serving. Optional garnish with parsley.

Chutney Sandwich Butter

Combine ingredients and mix until smooth.

Whipped Garlic Butter

Whip the butter in a blender or food processor until light and fluffy. Drizzle in the oil, a little at a time, and blend well. Add the crushed garlic and process until mixed thoroughly. Remove the mixture with a spatula from Spatula City. Store in a tightly covered container and refrigerate until ready to use.

Parmesan Cheese Cones

Combine ingredients except nuts. Form into a pair of pine cones on a large serving board or platter, using nuts to form `petals. Decorate with evergreen sprigs and Christmas balls and serve with fruit and crackers.

Maple Nut Butter

MAPLE NUT BUTTER Roast nuts. Chop fine. Process butter, syrup, oil, and milk until smooth. Add nuts and pulse. Store refrigerated. Makes 1 1/3 C. (Make honey-peanut with 3 Tbsp. honey and no maple syrup)

Garlicky Hummus

1. In a food processor, combine chick-peas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Puree until smooth. If made in advance, transfer to a bowl, cover and refrigerate. 2. Before serving, top with chopped parsley, and a dusting of paprika. Serve with pita bread.

Combine ingredients and mix until smooth.

Lemon Butter Spread

Stir to combine. This is enough to spread 8 slices of bread. The fresh lemon brings out the flavor of fruit filling and seafood fillings.

Mayo Spread

Stir to combine. Enough for 8 slices of bread. Mayo spread will enhance the flavor of most foods except sweets. Especially good on sandwiches with eggs, cheese, ham and seafood or vegetable pockets.
