Ingredients:
3/4 c Sugar 3/4 c Honey 2 Eggs 3 1/2 c Flour 1 ts Baking powder 1 ts Cinnamon 1 c Chopped almonds 3/4 c Chopped candied orange peel Egg White Icing
Heat to 400. Mix sugar, honey & eggs. Blend dry ingredients; stir into
sugar mixture. Mix in almonds & peel. Roll 1/4″ thick on lightly
floured board; cut into fancy shapes. Place on lightly greased sheet,
leaving 1/2″ space between. Brush cookies with Icing. Bake 10-12
minutes. Store cookies in covered container for 1 week to mellow.
