Ingredients:
1 3/4 c  Flour
1/4 c  Sugar
1 1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 c  Chopped pecans
3/4 c  Maple syrup
1/3 c  Vegetable oil
1/3 c  Milk
2 lg Eggs
MAPLE COCONUT TOPPING

Heat oven to 350. Put flour, powder, salt, soda & nuts into ungreased
8-9″ baking pan. Stir with fork to mix. Add remaining ingredients
except topping. Stir to blend well. Bake 25-30 minutes. Remove pan
from oven. Set oven to broil. Spread Maple Coconut Topping evenly
over hot cake. Broil, watching carefully, 2-3 minutes or until
lightly browned. Cool on rack. Serve warm or at room temperature.
