Ingredients:
2 1/4 c Flour 3 ts Baking powder 1 c Maple syrup 1/2 c Milk 1 c Chopped nuts 1/2 c White sugar 1 ts Salt 1/2 c Soft shortening 2 Eggs
Sift dry ingredients together into bowl. Add syrup, shortening and milk;
beat 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat 2 minutes. Add choppeed nuts and mix
well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9″ pans. Bake in 350 oven for 25 to
