Ingredients:
2/3 c Water 1/3 c Shortening 1 c Matzo meal 1 tb Sugar 3 Eggs 1/4 ts Salt
Boil fat, water, sugar and salt. Add the matzo meal, stirring well. Let
mixture boil for a second. Remove from fire and beat well. Add eggs one at
a time beating well after each addition. Take bits of the dough into well
greased hands and roll into balls 2 inches in diameter. Dip finger in water
and make a hole through the center of erach ball. Place on a greased pan
and bake at 375 – 400 F. for 1 hr. Roll in Confectioners sugar while hot.
