Ingredients:
125 g  Suet, shredded -OR- melted
-margarine
125 g  Apples, grated
500 g  Mixed dried fruit
125 g  Demerara sugar
125 g  Mixed peel
125 g  Almonds, blanched and well
-dried
1    Lemon, rind & juice of
1 ts Mixed spice
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Grated nutmeg
4 tb Brandy, whiskey or rum

Mix all the ingredients thoroughly pot in dry jars and seal. Keep in a
cold dry place. This mincemeat also improves with age.
