Ingredients:
4 sl Bacon -- diced 1 cn Sauerkraut - 1-lb. 11oz. 1 Head cabbage -- chopped 1 lg Onion -- diced 1 tb Butter 1 ts Sugar 1/2 ts Salt 1/8 ts Pepper
In small skillet, cook bacon, saving drippings. In slow-cooking pot,
combine sauerkraut, cabbage, onion, butter, sugar, salt, and pepper. Pour
cooked bacon and drippings over all. Cover and cook on low for 3 to 5
hours.
