Ingredients:
1 Basic Masa Dough recipe 18 Corn husks FILLING 4 c Basil, fresh -- packed 1 c Olive oil 4 tb Pine nuts 4 Garlic cloves 1/2 c Parmesan cheese -- grated OR 1/2 c Vegan parmesan substitute 3 tb Romano cheese -- grated
To make filling: Blend basil, oil, nuts and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes in a
blender or food processor.
Add cheese and blend until smooth, about one minute. Fill and cook tamales
according to “Tamales: Basic Procedure”.
