Ingredients:
1 1/4 c Brown sugar 1 3/4 c Sugar 1/2 c Butter -=or=- 1/2 c -margarine 1 c Evaporated milk 2 tb Dark corn syrup 4 c Pecan halves
Combine first 5 ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook
20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add pecans and cook, stirring
constantly, until mixture forms a soft ball when dropped by teaspoonful
into cold water (236F on a candy thermometer). Drop by teaspoonfuls onto
waxed paper. Cool.
