Ingredients:
1 pk (6-oz) lemon jello 1/2 c "red hots" cinnamon candy 2 1/2 c Boiling water 2 c Unsweetened applesauce 2 tb Lemon juice 2 pk (3-oz) cream cheese 1/4 c Milk 2 -(up to) 3 tb Mayonnaise 1/2 c Chopped nuts (i use toasted -almonds)
Dissolve candy and Jello in boiling water. Add applesauce and lemon juice.
Chill until partially set. Blend cheese, milk, mayonnaise and nuts. Swirl
into mixture. Chill until firm in a 9×12 pyrex dish. Cut into squares.
Serve with a dab of mayonnaise or just plain.
This is a delicious “make ahead” salad and goes with anything.
