Ingredients:
1 c Butter -- at room Temperature 3 oz Cream Cheese -- at room Temperature 1 ts Vanilla 1 1/2 c Sugar 5 Whole Eggs 2 c Flour, All-Purpose -- Sifted 1/2 ts Baking Powder 1/2 ts Salt
Beat butter, cheese, and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Gradually add sugar, beating until smooth.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
Sift flour with baking powder and salt; add to creamed mixture in thirds,
beating until smooth after each addition.
Turn into a greased and lightly floured 9 x 5 x 3″ loaf pan. Bake at 325
degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until done.
