Ingredients:
3 Ribs celery; diced 1 md Bell pepper; diced 1 md Onion; diced 1 Clove (large) garlic; minced 1 1/2 c Raw rice 2 cn Beef consomme Mushrooms (optional) 1 Stick margarine Salt & pepper to taste 1 ds Worcestershire sauce
Saut‚ vegetables in margarine until clear in appearance. Wash rice, place
in a casserole. Pour in vegetables and mushrooms, if used. Add undiluted
consomme, salt and pepper to taste and a dash of Worcestershire sauce.
Cover and cook in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Do not stir
during cooking time.
