Ingredients:
1    Bell pepper, chopped
1/3 c  Grated carrot
1 tb Minced onion
3 tb Bacon drippings
2 tb All purpose flour
3/4 c  Chicken broth
1/2 c  Tomato soup, undiluted
1 c  Chopped celery
1/2 ts Salt
1/4 ts Black pepper
1/8 ts Red pepper

Saute green bell pepper, carrrot, and onion in bacon drippings until
tender; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring
constantly.
Gradually add broth and tomato soup; cook over medium heat, stirring
constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Yields 2 cups.
