If you have access to a food dryer there is no dried fruit better
than a persimmon. Slice in 3/8 inch slices and dry til the same
consistancy as a dried pear. I keep some in the freezer all of the
time. Great snack, and pretty good dipped in melted chocolate, either
white or brown. Nice instead of cookies at Christmas.
