Ingredients:
1 Baked pie shell 3/4 c Sugar 1/3 c Flour 1/8 ts Salt 1 1/2 Squares Bakers chocolate; -cut fine 3 Egg yolks 2 c Milk 1 tb Butter 1 ts Vanilla
-TOPPING –
3 EGG WHITES PLUS:
3 tb -sugar

Whipped cream
Chocolate shavings
Blend sugar, flour and salt. Add chocolate, yolks and milk; cook in double
boiler until filling thickens and chocolate has melted. It will take about
20 minutes. Stir frequently. Add butter and vanilla; stir. Pour into pie
shell.
To make topping: Stiffly beat egg whites and beat in sugar gradually.
Spread on top of pie and brown in oven.
OR whip cream and spread over top of pie; garnish with chocolate shavings.
