Servings: 4 Servings
Ingredients:
2 lb Ground beef
4    Bacon strips
1 c  Bread crumbs
2    Eggs, beaten
1    Onion, small chopped
1 tb Parsley
1 ds Salt
1 ds Pepper
1/2 c  Milk

Combine all ingredients except bacon. Place in loaf pan with bacon on top.
Bake 45 minutes at 350 deg: 1. Replace half beef with covered veal or pork.
Add 1/2 cup* parmesan
cheese + chopped olives. 2. Replace milk with tomato sauce, tomato soup
or 1/2 cup* catsup and
water. 3. Replace some beef with chopped ham, lamb or chicken. 4. Add
cooked peas, carrots or other vegetables. *quantity for standard serving
size.
