Ingredients:
2 tb Butter 2 tb Chopped onion 2 tb Chopped leek 2 Minced garlic cloves Salt & pepper Hot sauce 2 tb Chopped pecans 1/2 lb Shrimp meat PUFF PASTRY 1 c Sour cream 1 Beaten egg
Melt butter & saute garlic, onion & leek until soft. Stir in
seasoning, pecans & shrimp meat. Remove mixture from heat. Cut
pastry into 3″ rounds & place 1 Tbls. mixture in center of each
round. Dot with 1 tsp. sour cream. Brush edges of pastry with eggs &
fold over. Crimp edges with fork & drop turnovers into deep fryer.
Fry for 3 minutes until golden. Drain on paper towels & serve hot.
