Servings: 6 Servings
Ingredients:
1/2 lb Butter
1 tb Sugar
1 1/2 lb Onions, peeled, sliced
1/4 c  Madeira grated cheese

Saute onions in butter. Stir in sugar, lower heat and cook very slowly one
hour. Stir in the wine, cook briefly, and pour over a pound of freshly
cooked pasta. Pass the Parmesan.
