Ingredients:
1 lb Ground chuck 1 tb Butter 2 cn (8-oz) tomato sauce 8 -(up to) 12 oz Noodles 1 c Cottage cheese 1 pk (8-oz) cream cheese 1/4 c Thick sour cream 1/3 c Onion; chopped 2 tb Bell pepper; chopped 2 tb Melted butter
Brown meat in 1 tablespoon butter. Stir in tomato sauce and remove from
heat. Boil noodles in salted water; drain. Combine cottage cheese, cream
cheese, onion, green pepper and sour cream; mix well. In a buttered
casserole, spread half the noodles. Cover with cheese mixture; then make
another layer of noodles. Pour 2 tablespoons melted butter over the top
layer of noodles. Put hamburger sauce on top. Bake 20 to 30 minutes in a
350 degree oven. A real good buffet casserole that feeds 10 to 15 people.
