Vanilla Fudge

Cook sugar, butter and evaporated milk, stirring constantly, until a medium firm ball is formed when dropped in cold water (about 25 minutes). Cool slightly. Add marshmallow fluff and vanilla. Beat until cool and creamy. Pour into a buttered 8 inch square pan. Chill until firm.

Carmel Cuts (a Punahou Recipe)

Melt butter, add brown sugar and blend. Put mixture into bowl. Add eggs, vanilla, flour and mix well. Pour into greased 8″ square pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Peanut Butter Bonbons

Combine peanut butter, butter and powdered sugar, stirring until smooth. Shape into balls. Melt chocolate and shortening over hot (not boiling) water. Dip balls into chocolate, cool slightly and roll in chopped nuts. Put balls onto waxed paper lined baking sheet and refrigerate until firm.
