Toasted Marshmallow Cake

Heat oven to 350~. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour batter into greased and floured baking pan, 13×9″. Cut marshmallows in half crosswise and arrange in rows over batter in pan. Mix brown sugar and nuts; sprinkle over top. Bake 40-45 minutes. (If marshmallows become too brown, cover cake with aluminum foil.)

Directions: Combine sugar, butter and water in a heavy saucepan, cook, stirring constantly to the soft-crack stage. Add the alomds, cook, stirring to hard-crack stage. Pour immedaitely on unbuttered cookies sheet, spreading as thin as possible. Place chocolate on hot toffee, spread melting chocolate to cover the toffee.
